About Dr. Ann Barnet
Ann Barnet has a passion for health and discovery. Her love of adventure and healing was inspired by her parents – her mother a nurse who cared for people in South America, and her father who ran a leprosy colony in Africa. She followed in their footsteps, first working with multinational researches in Bolivia and later as a Peace Corps Health Volunteer in West Africa. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame and then went on to earn a Medical Degree from the University of Nevada. She remained in the community to complete her internship and residency in Internal Medicine in 2008. Dr. Barnet then went on to complete post graduate training in Acupuncture and Pain Management through the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Barnet has extensive experience and a passion for EFT also known as Emotional Freedom Technique, which she blends into her Integrative Medical Practice in the traditional hospital setting as well as in her private outpatient practice.
She is passionate about supporting the body and mind and believes in our innate capacity to function in a state of optimal health. She is intrigued and grateful for the ways both nature and science can support this. Dr. Barnet has been also enjoyed her experiences providing festival medical care, concierge medicine and teaching.
