About Dr. Henry Childers
Dr. Henry Childers is board certified in general surgery and cardio-thoracic surgery, with advanced certificates in both FSM and ozone therapy. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Ozone Therapy and is co-investigator on the Health and Human Services Institutional Review Board Ozone efficacy research study.
Dr. Childers has a special interest in alternative therapies for the treatment of Lyme Disease and is one of the only Lyme Literate medical doctors (LLMD) in the region.
Dr. Childers received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, completed his surgery residency at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and a fellowship in cardio-thoracic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a senior clinical associate in surgery at Cornell University Medical College and served as chief resident in the Department of Surgery at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He has also practiced cardio-thoracic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Division of Cardio-thoracic Surgery.
