My simplest answer is that I’m an activist and environmentalist. Melinda Choy graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara with a BA Degree in Political Science and a minor in Global Peace and Security. After losing her mother after a long battle of cancer, she saw that that healing and change needs to come from deep within.

She graduated from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz in 2003 and received a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She then started her own practice in South Lake Tahoe in 2004. While in school, she apprenticed with a long-time local acupuncturist in Santa Cruz. She also studied at the Zhejiang University in China. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of California and has her National Certification in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.
